A message to Jürgen Klopp, YNWA

Dear Jürgen,

We are deeply saddened by the news of your mother's passing.

We want to send you and your family our sincerest condolences. Due to the pandemic the fans cannot be in the stadium, but we wanted to send a message to you in the way most of us communicate these days.  Therefore, we set up this space to allow anyone a platform to send you a message should they wish. You’ll Never Walk Alone. Not now, not ever.

There are no words that could describe how grateful we are to have you as our manager. You have given us so much joy and so many unforgettable moments. You mean a lot to us and we wanted to show you the love for the person who meant a lot to you. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

May your mother rest in love.

Yours truly,

Maxi, Moby, Mehul, Peter and every Liverpool fan around the world

Condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. You say football is the most important of the least important things so I hope you find some comfort and distraction in football and in knowing you have brought unimaginable joy to thousands of people who you've never even met. Any mother would be proud of a son who could affect so many in such a positive way and I'm sure yours was immensely so, may she rest in eternal peace. You'll Never Walk Alone

Jurgen,
when you first landed in Liverpool, you famously said that your weren't the 'special one' but rather the 'normal one'. But what you have given Liverpool and the thousands of fans around the world has been more than special. The experiences, the feelings, they all emanate from you. So it is now time for us to give back. Hopefully you can feel the love and support for you and your family coming to from across the world. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Jurgen,

You and this team brought happiness to my life when I was going through some very dark moments. I cannot thank you enough for that.

It is with great sadness that I heard about the recent loss of your mother, who was clearly very dear to you. Your down-to-earth, compassionate and empathetic character speak volumes about those who raised you. I think it is easy to conclude that she was a very special lady who would have been very proud of the man her son became.

You have my deepest condolences in this time and utmost respect in remaining professional and continuing to perform your role as leader of this club, despite going through such a sorrowful period in your life. Your mother will be looking down upon you with pride and happiness.

LFC is one big family and we will all be here for you, if you need us.

You'll never walk alone, Jurgen Klopp.
Rest in peace, Elisabeth Klopp.

It's important to grieve. I know it from experience!!

So grieve, remember her with fondness and love, and come back stronger!!
When you are back, the world would seem changed, lifeless, colourless, monotonous and automatic, but then I trust you and your interviews to change that!!

Many of us have never met you, many never will, but the joy you have brought to our lives these last few years at LFC is beyond words!!, We grieve together with you, AS A FAMILY.

Jurgen,

You have brought millions of fans around the world joy, happiness, and fulfillment for many years. This has made you a true legend at the club and we can't adequately repay you for the excitement you have brought to our lives as fans of LFC. One of the reasons I started following the club was the connection between the city, fans, and club and you have strengthened that relationship in a way that only few have (and ever will). The second reason I joined was my love for YNWA as a motto. I hope that you feel this attitude during this dark time in your family's lives with the loss of your mother. You Will Never Walk Alone now and forever in the future.

Dear Jurgen,

I've never had the privilege of meeting you and I probably never will get that chance. I've only seen you in interviews and during the games. In the last 3-4 years you've brought me joy through your wonderful personality and instilled a greater sense of pride in me as a Liverpool fan.

To hear of your loss, saddened me. Losing family can be very heartbreaking.

It was surprising when I found out that you somehow pulled through and went on with the games knowing full well what was on your mind and even tried your fullest to steer the team through such challenging times.

I do hope that you take the team needed for yourself and family to heal.

We're all standing with you and will always support you even in the hardest of times. You are everything that's great about this club and have left such an impact on us fans that will last a lifetime. I'm sure your mother would've been incredibly proud of you.

Live strong Jurgen. Love from a fan in India.

Dear Jurgen,

Everyone knows you are a special football manager.

What strikes me more, is what a special man you are.

I would guess that a mother who raised a son like you would have been the prouder beyond imagination.

I hope what you have achieved brought her the same sort of joy you have brought millions of football fans across two countries.

I wish we could have done anything in our power to let you go and say goodbye to her.

I hope your mum rests in peace and that you find the strength to get past your undeniable sorrow.

You’ll never walk alone Jurgen.

Jurgen,

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. The past year has been challenging and losing a loved one to this awful virus must make it that much worse, especially when that someone is your mother. I'm so sorry this has happened to you and your family and wish you and those close to you the best. We fully support you and your loved ones at this time, Jurgen.

As awful as this virus has been, Liverpool has been a bright spot. Watching you and the boys on the pitch has really made the quarantine much easier. Things may not have gone our way this season, but Liverpool isn't meant to have it easy. We're not handed silverware or titles, they're earned here. I just rewatched some of the footage from the past few seasons and it brought me to tears. What you've done for the club is nothing short of amazing, and we are so grateful to have you as our manager. We stick by you through everything, gaffer. I can't wait for the next game.

YNWA

Cheers,
James

Jurgen, thank you for the memories you've built with Liverpool. More importantly, though, I offer my condolences for the passing of your mother. When I lost my mom, I was heartbroken, angry, and questioning why she was taken from me and my family. But when I felt like that, I remembered her smile, and the warmth it brought me and everyone else she touched.

I can tell your mother has a similar smile, and the unique ability to spread joy with a single action. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, and deeply sorry you can't return to Germany to be with your family. Just know that you've got a family much bigger than you think, every Liverpool supporter loves you and believes in you. We'll all get you through this together.

Stay strong and YNWA,

My deepest condolences are with you Jurgen. Your tenure as Liverpool gaffer has brought me and countless others solace in times and hardship and sadness. While the loss of a mother is a grief that never truly goes away, it is my sincere hope that these messages will do the same for you.
