A message to Jürgen Klopp, YNWA

Dear Jürgen,

We are deeply saddened by the news of your mother's passing.

We want to send you and your family our sincerest condolences. Due to the pandemic the fans cannot be in the stadium, but we wanted to send a message to you in the way most of us communicate these days.  Therefore, we set up this space to allow anyone a platform to send you a message should they wish. You’ll Never Walk Alone. Not now, not ever.

There are no words that could describe how grateful we are to have you as our manager. You have given us so much joy and so many unforgettable moments. You mean a lot to us and we wanted to show you the love for the person who meant a lot to you. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

May your mother rest in love.

Yours truly,

Maxi, Moby, Mehul, Peter and every Liverpool fan around the world

Boss, my thoughts go out to you and your family! I am so thankful that you are our manager. You are one of us and at this difficult time just know that we are all behind you and send you our love. Liverpool FC is more than a football club, but you know that and it is why you are a perfect fit.
The way you have still led this team and faced the press and answered some utterly stupid questions shows how great a man you are.
Just remember You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Very saddened to hear about the passing of your mother and even more heartbreaking to hear you couldn't make the funeral. It's at times like this when the small things matter - you've been an inspiring personality for so many and you may never fully realise exactly how much you've given to everyone associated with Liverpool Football Club so its important you know that at the end of a storm there's a golden sky and that you'll never walk one.

Since your appointment, you have helped me connect with my family through our family - Liverpool football club. I couldn’t imagine losing one of them, so the pain you must feel is unimaginable. In this difficult time take comfort in the fact that you are now in our family, and what you’ve done for us all, and me, will never be forgotten and I can only thank you for that Jürgen. I know the boys will do you proud against Leicester on Saturday and despite your struggles and sadness you’ll guide our club, and our family, to great things again this season and in those to come because that’s the great leader and man we know you to be. It’s a shame we can’t be at Anfield to show you our love because this time, you deserve the infamous ‘Klopp hug’. When we’re back, we’ll all together make some noise and spur our team on in your mother’s honour. She must be so proud of you.

Best wishes, we all love you my friend.

Remember, you’ll never walk alone.

Never.

You have brought the football back that I watched us play in the 70s and 80s. Where we didn't worry if we were losing 1 nil with 10 minutes to go, we could still win 9 1, as it only takes a minute to score a goal. Ignore the haters, and idiots. You are the epitome of LFC, we want you here at Anfield for as long as you want to be here.

Dear Jürgen,
You have brought so much joy to the people around you, the city of Liverpool and all the Liverpool fans in the world. I'm sure your mother must have brought you much joy in your life as well. It's very hard to lose a parent, and even more so during a pandemic when we can't be there for all the people we love and mourn and heal as a family, and as a community. I wish we as Liverpool fans could let you know that we're with you and we're thinking of you. Stay strong and give yourself some time to mourn. I know football is important to you and to all of us, but as you have said before there's more important things in life.
Stay strong!

To Jurgen,

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I lost my own mother in October of 2020 and, like you, was unable to be with her in her final days because of Covid restrictions. These are difficult and devastating times, but there is comfort in knowing that we are both part of a world-wide family of Liverpool fans and because of that, we never have to walk alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very sad time. Just as you have always been there to give encouragement and hugs to your players and staff when they needed it most, we, the fans are here to do the same for you. May the light and love that heals all hearts surround you now and give you peace. Even though your dear mother and my dear mother are gone from sight, they will live forever in our hearts.

With love and sympathy,

Dear Mr. Klopp,

I am so sorry. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. You have given us so much support as our boss. I wish we could provide the same for you now. I wish we had the right sequence of words to offer some comfort. I wish we had a way with words like you do. I'm certain your way with words is a trait you received from your Mother.

I listen to your interviews on my way to & from work. They bring me peace, perspective, insight, and hope. Your words bring me out of my lows and keep humble in my highs. It's not just the way you speak about football, it's how you relate lessons to life.

I call you boss and my mentor. That can only be achieved if someone like yourself is raised by parents who nurture their child with the same compassion you've shown your team, coaches, and fans.

This means more (because of you).

To Jürgen,

You have shown what love and support means during your time at Liverpool. The passion you show towards the players and the fans is true and undeniable. In times like these, you have always told us to continue believing and supporting, even at our lowest points. Now it's time for us to show and return that to you. It's a shame we can't be at Anfield to express it personally but, in the hope that these messages reach you, we want to tell you we are all thinking of you and your family at this tough time. No words can express or reduce the sadness you and your family are going through but remember to hold your head up high when you walk through a storm. We are thankful for the influence your mother had on your life, because without her we may have never had the pleasure to witness your greatness at Anfield. During the 25 years from supporting the Reds this is definitely the best period I have experienced and a huge part of that is down to you. We are so thankful and lucky to have you as mamager of this great football team and hope you stay for years to come.

It was only this week that I finally got around to watching the "The End of the Storm" documentary that celebrated our first title win in 30 years.

I became quite emotional at the parts where you talked about your father and the sadness and regret that he, sadly, did not live long enough to watch your successes as a manager.

But, your Mother did. She was able to see that an extraordinary team of players managed by her son, did extraordinary things. She was able to see how her son has strengthened the bond between the players and fans. She was able to see how happy her son made people all over the world, and the genuine high regard we hold you in.

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mother and even more sorry that due to current circumstances, you and your family cannot be together to mourn her passing. I hope that one day soon, you can all be together and can celebrate her life in some way.

As always, you have the love and support of each and every Liverpool fan all around the globe.

Rest in Peace, Elisabeth.

My son is 13 years old. He started supporting LFC from a young age following in my footsteps. I was lucky enough to witness the great Liverpool teams of the 80’s winning league titles and dominating Europe. We had not won the league in 25 years when you arrived, and I was beginning to believe that my son will never witness what I was able to as a kid.

And then you came into our club, and made us believe. It was hard at first, but we kept faith and believed in you. AND YOU DELIVERED. Delivered in a way none of us could imagine. My son got to witness not only a league championship, but a European Cup, Super Cup and World Club Club.❤️

Dearest Jürgen,

I am extremely sorry for your loss, I hope you and the family are coping as well as can be.

Sometimes when we look at famous people, we assume they are special because they are constantly on
TV, and in our lives day to day, but with you, special is probably an understatement. Your job title may say football manager, and you may well be the best at your job, but the real special part is you. The way that you view and conduct yourself in life,, they way in which you view others, speak about others, and connect with others is truly unique.

Your weekly press conferences are not only a chance for us to receive updates about the playing squad, but also a mini weekly lesson on how life should be lived. You really are an inspiration.

The reason I mention all of the above is because these characteristics, these qualities must have had to be instilled in your from childhood, which clearly shows your mother is a special person, in a special place as you say - having left the world a special part of her.
I can only imagine the pride she felt watching you grow from the boy in the home made Stuttgart knitted jumper - to being champion of the entire world.

RIP Frau Elizabeth Klopp.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this sad

Don’t think of her as gone away
her journey’s just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.

Jürgen,
These times are not the best of times; in fact they are close to the worst of times. But the worst of times brings out fire, desire and fight in the weakest of people, something you are far from, hence why this time can be a spark for something incredible. Do not begin sesrxhing for meaning or interpretation for this event, and how it is applicable to your life. This event was completely random, much like everything else in this life. The circumstances we find ourselves in are not unique to us, each of the 7 billion souls in this planet is affected the same way, so we FEEL, we THINK, we MOURN, we REJOICE in the same way. You have a network of people around you that care, utilise them as you will realise the amount of empathy in this world is far from scarce. Keep going gaffer, not for you, or the lads, or the fans, but for Elisabeth. Never forget, that as long as youre part of Liverpool Football Club; You’ll Never Walk Alone, Jürgen. Rest in Peace, Elisabeth Klopp. 🖤
