A message to Jürgen Klopp, YNWA

Dear Jürgen,

We are deeply saddened by the news of your mother's passing.

We want to send you and your family our sincerest condolences. Due to the pandemic the fans cannot be in the stadium, but we wanted to send a message to you in the way most of us communicate these days.  Therefore, we set up this space to allow anyone a platform to send you a message should they wish. You’ll Never Walk Alone. Not now, not ever.

There are no words that could describe how grateful we are to have you as our manager. You have given us so much joy and so many unforgettable moments. You mean a lot to us and we wanted to show you the love for the person who meant a lot to you. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

May your mother rest in love.

Yours truly,

Jurgen, I cannot imagine the pain you're dealing with. I can only offer a shoulder, just like you have offered us all these years so we can stand on it and call ourselves tall and proud. In these bleak times football has given me something to look forward to week after week. You winning us the premiership with the lads made the pandemic bearable. I hope you make your peace.

Sincerest condolences Jürgen YNWA. I DO know how you feel. Sadly I lost my Dad on June 10th we had to put him into a care home before the pandemic and so could not visit him. I did get to see him the day before he passed away. Dad took me to my first game at Anfield 54 years ago and as I walked into his room the first thing he said was have we won the league yet Paul ? I said not yet Dad but we will do soon. Just started playing again. Dad said yes Jürgen is bringing it home he dies the next day and didn’t get to see it.
Mum is now in hospital having also caught the virus. As a family we want to thank you for bringing so much pride belief and joy back into our life’s
Please believe that the Liverpool fan base all support and love you x

Jürgen,

I was so devastated to hear about the news of your mother's passing. We all know how much family means to you, and I can only imagine the struggle the past few weeks have been for you.

There's one thing I've known to be true through your tenure as our manager, though, and that's that Liverpool is a family. I live all the way across the world in America, and have never been to Anfield, but due in large part to YOUR caring and passionate leadership, I've still always felt like a part of it.

We've all been there to cheer you on during the good times; now we're all here to stand by you in the worst of times. You'll Never Walk Alone Boss, and neither will your mother. Wishing you and your family all the best through this tremendously challenging time. Your mother will be sorely missed, but absolutely never forgotten, and she would be unbelievably proud to have her memory and legacy carried on by a son like you.

Guten Tag Herr Jurgen.

You'll Never Walk Alone isn't just a cliched club phrase, it's a way of life. You're with us all. I wish I could give you a hug, after all that you've done for me, and everyone else. In Islam, we have a saying that Heaven lies at the feet of our mother - and you must have done so much for her to be extremely proud of you.

You've made everything golden for us. When I was in the storm with my autism, depression and anxiety, you made everything beautiful with a golden touch. You made life bearable, to then being a joyful thing just from the TV screen having never been to a game. This is our way of giving back to you and we all wish we could give back to you in the ground soon.

You'll Never Walk Alone,
Haroon 💕

Hey Jurgen,

You may think football is just a game. It's more than that. You actually save lives. Believe me. We all live a stressful life and football is the one of the few positive things that help us to move forward. For some moments we forget all the frustrations and smile. Just like you are doing now I think.

I'm sure you're feeling pain inside but you held it together. You kept smiling and tried to do things for the football club. We owe you everything.

Thank you for everything. Stay strong. We love you Jurgen Norbert Klopp.

Some days will be easier than others, and that’s okay. It’s okay to hurt. Just know you have my full support today, tomorrow and everyday. At the end of the storm, there is a golden sky. I'm not going to talk football because in all my years watching Liverpool as a die hard fan, you were definitely THE BEST. To me, you're just like Gerrard. A reason to watch the game. And it's not just for the great football on display, I like to watch your interviews to see your passion and the energy you bring to everyone around you.

In such tough times, I wish you and your family the very best. Thank you for everything you bring to the fans of football, not just Liverpool fans. You're a humble and hardworking football genius who will never walk alone. Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool were never the same after your influence.

I’m sorry for your loss in this terrible time in your life. I’m lucky to be able to say that I’ve yet to lose either of my parents, and I can’t imagine how earth-shattering it will be when it happens. You’ve taken something I love in the club I support, to something that others are envious of, one that wins titles (the first in my lifetime, I might add!). My parents have always taught me that doing something to inspire joy and happiness in other peoples lives is something to be proud of - by that margin your parents must be immensely proud. Thanks for everything you do for us. My thoughts are with you in this time.

Jurgen,
I have been a Liverpool fan for the longest time, been there in our highs and lows, but what mattered the most was that in my lows the only thing that got me through was watching Liverpool play and knowing that despite not having anyone, I will never walk alone. This is what Liverpool taught me. This is what you taught me. That how you can become a believer from a doubter, that try and even if you fail, you fail in the most beautiful way possible. You taught me that. To never give up, to fight back, to prove people wrong so thank you for that.
Today, even though in the most minute way possible, we as fans and me as an individual want to convey that we are there for you. I offer ky deepest condolences for you loss and I hope that you are okay. It pains to see the most cheerful person be sad and specially not you. You made me believe in making the best out of the situations. I wish you my best to bounce back and we are there for you.

It's been a very tough period, and many others have lost loved ones, too. We just have to carry on, and help each other through life, because no-one should feel they are feeling the loss alone.

But there is another side, too. Our loved ones who are no longer physically here on earth do actually live on, in the way that they have influenced the people around them. We can choose to act in ways that will make them proud, by remembering the love they gave us, and in turn, giving that love to the whole world.

I hope you know that already you have influenced so many people's lives in a positive way. Your family are all rightly very proud of you. There will be waves of sorrow, grief, listlessness, and more that you have to ride out now, but remember, we are all with you all the way.

Thank you so much for everything you have done. I hope you can feel the love behind all of these messages.

Hi Jurgen,

Firstly I hope you're doing well amongst all this chaos. I've been a Liverpool supporter since 2008 and I just want to tell you that you've given me and all the LFC fans happiness beyond comprehension. I hope things will get better for you personally and I know you will make things better because you're a winner. Don't worry, all the LFC supporters got your back.

Things will get better soon!

Dear Jurgen,

I am one of the younger liverpool fans here, but you have been an inspiration to me and many other liverpool fans and you always warm my heart when your stand up for the good and the justice for others. You have given so many liverpool fans including myself hope for the future. You are a leader. You don't need to go to the end of the tunnel to find light, you are the light in the tunnel. During this moment, as a Christian like you, I am saddened but know that she is in a better place, where she can rejoice with the Lord. I pray he will give you the wisdom to overturn the fortunes you are having right now and countinue being an amazing manager.

Dear Jurgen,

I cannot comprehend what you are going through right now— I am sure that many reds, no, many people in general can. I would firstly like to express my sincerest of condolences to you and your family. I am certain that your mother was indeed everything to you, and it is a testament to her good character and sheer brilliance as a person that she was able to raise such a splendid son like yourself. I am sure that she is watching you always, with great pride, as you handled yourself admirably in front of the whole world whilst going through something this tragic. You are and always will be the pride of your mother. And you will always be the pride of all Liverpool fans around the world.
You’ll never walk alone.

Dear Jürgen and the rest of the family,

I am truly sad to learn of your mothers passing.
I can only imagine what a spectacular woman she must have been. I think many of us owe her more than she will ever know and anyone could ever understand. The values you represent as a human inspires me every day - willingly or not I believe you set an example for many people, especially our young ones, of how to conduct oneself when faced with both adversity and success, and I believe you are doing a wonderful job.
I can only guess, but the way you speak about your parents lead me to believe that these qualities stem from them.

In the end, I hope you keep your head held high - even if there are tears in your eyes.

On behalf of myself and, I believe, countless other Reds, thank you!
You'll Never Walk Alone.

Jurgen,

In this hard time know that your mother must have been proud of you. Not because your the manager of a big football club but because you’ve touched millions of individuals lives with your message of togetherness, love and equity. What mother couldn’t be proud of a man who shares that message so widely. I cannot imagine how it must feel not to be able to say goodbye but please take some comfort in knowing that the storm will pass and you’ll have your time to say goodbye. Just know the Liverpool family are with you and your family.

Hi Jürgen. Can’t describe with words how deeply saddened I an and how much I feel for you in this moment right now. The world is an unfair place, especially right now. Lost my grandmother to this bullsh*t pandemic and miss her everyday. I was at least able to attend ger fungerar and I can’t imagine how hard it must be to not be able to say goodbye in an appropiate way, but you will one day. Like the team we just have to keep on fighting and the time will come soon enough. At the end of the storm, there’s a golden sky, and this is your storm. I can imagine Gerry M is singing for her up there right now. May your mother rest in peace. Love you, my manager.

Jurgen, my heart goes out to you and your family at this time. There's nothing anyone can really say to make it better because only time can make it easier, and even then, a nagging emptiness never really goes away. I lost my mum 9 years ago and I still miss her every day. What helped was to have the support of those who I love and who love me.

You must know that as manager of our club, you are loved by millions. The LFC family, like all families, has its ups and downs but we are always there for our own. You are one of us and will always be. So in times when you feel an emptiness, something missing in the weeks, month and years - always know that we have you in our hearts. You are loved and we will never stop supporting you.

I can't imagine the pain you went through since god knows when, but, goodness,I admire your drive, patience and strength to carry on with your job even in these horrible times, giving more importance to us. We are eternally grateful for you, Jürgen, and you perhaps are not aware of the magnitude of the love all of us harbour in our hearts for you. Your mum has raised an absolute gentleman, legend, and great human being, and she must be so proud of who you are now. She is now in a better place, resting eternally.
